Dawn’s Light Released!
Posted by DanielWe are proud to announce the release of our first game, Dawn’s Light! You can download it right now and if you like it enough, you should buy it! =)
Not convinced? Well let me tell you a bit more about the game.
Dawn’s Light was designed around the idea that it should be fun to play instead of being annoying. Now that the game is done I have to say that it definitely lives up to that idea.
To make the game more fun we:
- Gave each dungeon a unique story (not just ‘bad guy, get him’)
- Created many unique puzzles and challenges to break up the fighting
- Created tons of sidequests so you always have something to do other than the main quest
To make the game less annoying we:
- Created a journal system so you can always see what you’ve done and what you need to do
- Created an atlas so you don’t get lost
- Made all negative status effects fade away after battle!
Of course there’s many more examples but these are just the main ones. We just made the game we wanted to play. An interesting game with all of the fun parts and none of the boring parts.

A really great game!
It was fun and innovative, I liked how it wasn’t all fighting.
I’m definitely buying this game.
The only problem was that it was a little bit sluggish at times, but that could just be my computer having a bad day.

A great game, just finished the trial and are about to buy the whole game. its great, it caught me like few other rpg’s have.

An absolutely high-quality RPG, you can actually feel the love for details – Comparing it to other RPGs Dawn’s Light sets a new level for aesthetics, humour and great story-telling! God, I never got so hooked up to a game just wondering what would come next, what riddles, problems and people to face. Thank you sooo much!
PS: Agree with Samoura and Lisa – you get far more mentally engaged and challenged by solving the little puzzles and guessing/finding the right solutions to some of the tasks. Battling is less important (but still!). Please keep this feature in upcoming games (like Christmas Tale, another really good one of yours).
When is Dawn’s Light 2 being released. I am very excited about this new game. They are very immpresive and I appreciate the work everyone has put in to making such great RPG games
